Senior Victor

I remember my secondary school crush with so much vividness it turns white in my eyes. Senior Victor Anozie was very dark like Coldstones's chocolate ice cream with chocolate waffles toppings. He was gorgeous but of average height which I didn't mind. I remember how my classmate, Semira had told me he liked me (I didn't even like him then because he was always frowning). He was so neat and whenever he smiled, his white teeth glinted against his ebony build.

We spoke with just our eyes but our lips longed to talk over. But Senior Sheri won't have any of this lovey-dovey nonsense because he was her boyfriend. We carried on this way until the day after night prep. I had forgotten my water flask and quickly rushed back to the assembly hall to get it. No other time did Senior Victor deem it fit to close his book than that very moment I stepped into the hall. Our eyes locked for minutes and before I could blink, he had talked four long strides, crushed me into his bouldered chest, wrapped his arms around my waist, and kissed me with all the passion Cupid forgot to release. My legs wobbled and my brain started melting. His lips tasted like a strawberry dipped in honey.

He let me go and gave me one of his white smiles. I couldn't help but blush. He was so damn fine.
" I'm sorry about that. I..I.I couldn't help myself.
"No need for sorries, Mr. Chocolate." I thought.

Just as I was about to pick up my flask and head back to the hostel, Senior Sheri breezed in purposely looking for her boyfriend, my crush. She asked what was going on and before I couldn't think up something, Senior Victor told her that he had sent me to get a friend's chemistry note from the adjoining hall. Fortunate enough, there was a friend's chemistry note on his table. "So smooth. Chemistry indeed!", I thought with a smile. She nodded her head and ordered me back to the hostel.

The next morning, Mr. Chocolate still flashed one of his sexy smiles at me but I didn't return it. I didn't return them because Senior Sheri had sent me to fetch 150 buckets of water that night. She had seen us kissing and kept asking me how was it as I returned with each bucket of water.
